The Spirit of ’59

“The Spirit Of ’59” is a mixed-media découpage exploration of the days back when popular music was good.

This is footage from when “The Spirit” was built about 10 years ago, as well as more up-to-date imagery (and yet another nod to The Who.)

It’s a big mixed-media bag, mostly shot in haste over the years on crummy cameras covered in paste.

Strictly-speaking, this is a combination of regular photography; stop-motion animation; time-lapse photography, and video.

I wrote the music and played all the instruments (except John Ö. on drums.)
