Original Photography & Music: Mary What’s Her Name
Pieces sliced straight from a quarantine dream, this photographic study of my studio is a tour of obsolescence.
As usual I used cheap-o cameras for these lovely shots of my immediate-work-area and surrounding projects: LPs, cast-offs, antiques, hi-tech stuff & busted instruments, old books & trophies & lots of dust.
I wrote and performed the music, with John Ö on drums and Rob F on vocals. Thanks to both!
This piece is in 3/4, 4/4 and 5/4 time, not always an easy trick to pull off in one song.
For those in the know, the 1967 Premier drum kit and the 1979 Rickenbacker 4001 you see here were the main instruments in the rhythm section recording of this composition.
